OUR MISSION
A safe haven, a shining beacon
Lighthouse is an organization that caters to Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education Support, and Special Education services for young learners. Lighthouse International School aims to provide services that can support children who seek to enhance their skills within and outside the regular school program. Our school also aspires to help busy families have a safe place for their children to learn, grow, and enjoy the importance of being with others.
Our Values describe the four anchors of character formation and to be able to understand the significance of living in the community and society on a larger scale. It is the core ingredient of our institution to instill these four pillars of social and emotional development in our young learners.
The institution aims to be a beacon of…
Kindness
We aim to instill kindness as part of the children’s growth and development to enhance the sense of empathy and compassion further and, at the same time, be able to reach out to those who are in need.
Respect
Lighthouse GL, Inc. is an inclusive institution, and everyone is part of the family regardless of race, gender, culture, and ability. Being respectful, aware, and understanding of our differences also embraces our human existence.
Hope
Hope is where dreams and goals start. Our children are the symbol of hope that inspires us to move forward and become better versions of ourselves. With hope, everything is possible, and if things or situations don’t go as planned, hope can help us focus on alternative ways how to be happy in our lives.
Love
Love is what the world needs. Children deserve the right love they need as they grow up into beautiful human beings. They shine, and they teach the adults how to love even the littlest thing there is that they feel meaningful as they wonder.
THE LIGHTHOUSE LOGO
The upper window represents the mind of a child, the lower one represents the heart. The floor represents the four anchors of our values: the beacons of love, hope, respect, and kindness. The waves have three strokes, each representing the child, the parents, and the community. The overall picture subtly forms the letter “L” for “Lighthouse.”
